Green Beans with Tomatoes and Basil

Ingredients

  • 6 cups green beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) tomatoes, low-sodium
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper

Steps

Wash hands with soap and water.

Cook beans in a large saucepan of boiling water for 5 minutes; beans will still be crisp. Drain and rinse under cold running water. Set aside.
